I developed a variable font to explore and deepen my understanding of typographic details and principles. The initial inspiration for this typeface came from a segmented display system (similar to those used in older digital clocks, employing seven segments to form characters), which served as its foundation. My subsequent step involved introducing an angle to this font, envisioning its potential application in wayfinding systems, for example. This angle could also be inverted. The font's name, DiminishPoint, reflects this tilting functionality.
